One grand ole Saturday I decided to wake up and attempt to capture an amazing sunrise. Heading to the Belle Isle area to park and walk I noticed the sunrise becoming enveloped by clouds.
So instead of giving up I decided to take advantage of the moody clouds and ventured downtown. (For another view of the moody clouds that day, click here for a fellow Richmonder’s view from across the river.)
I have always enjoyed shooting singular objects with a lot of negative space, but the colors and overall mood of the image is what makes this one of my favorites. It’s a bit mysterious and doesn’t really let on to what it actually is.
